I too felt "pissed off" when I came home terrified because these were "actual facts", only to find out after a little online research that there is no proof of any of this. I can't even find an interview with Milla Jovovich or any of the actors where they state that this movie was indeed based on a true story. If anybody finds any evidence of some kind, or interview with any of the cast or crew involved in the creation of this apparent hoax, please post it here. I would love to find out I wasn´t actually misled like an eight-year-old with a boogeyman story...
